About the artist: Roger Pfund is a Swiss multidisciplinary artist with a particular expertise in the creation of artworks that are used in banknotes and passports. He is also an active painter, brand marketer and the creator of signage for institutions around the world.
About The Poster: This haunting poster was created for a photographic exhibition which honoured the memory of a group of people called the desaparecidos (or the disappeared), up to 30,000 men, women and children who were murdered in Argentina during a period of extreme political unrest in the 1970s. Much has been written about this grim period, and if you are interested in an overview, is a good place to start.
